MUSIC DIRECTOR born on May 30, 1977, is a versatile Indian artist active in the Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. His journey began by composing music for TV commercials, penning nearly 5,000 jingles. As a keyboardist, he collaborated with prominent music directors, including Vishal–Shekhar.
Gopi Sundar has earned numerous accolades, including a National Film Award, a Kerala State Film Award, and two Filmfare Awards South, for his exceptional soundtrack albums and film scores. In 2014, he founded the “Gopi Sundar Music Company” to support budding musicians and facilitate low-budget productions. His major releases include Anwar , Ustad Hotel , Bangalore Days , Ennu Ninte Moideen , Charlie , Take off , Pulimurugan & Geetha Govindham . In 2016, he took his talent to the stage, forming “Band Big G” in Dubai, a live performance music band. Notably, his work in the film “Pulimurugan” was considered for the 90th Academy Awards nominations, highlighting his global recognition and impact in the world of music and cinema.
